Overview
While often an uncomfortable subject, sex and sexuality are major aspects of our lives. Issues around sex, sexuality, and sexual intimacy can have a major impact on a person both individually and in terms of its impact on our relationships with others. I help by providing you with a space of non-judgement to discuss the things you are struggling with related to your sexuality and/or sexual intimacy. Anxiety, guilt, and shame are all common feelings that can come up when talking about sex and intimacy so we work together to create a sex-positive conversational space.

- body insecurity
- confidence related to sex
- past sexual trauma
- fetishes
- sex addiction
- pornography issues
- sex phobias
- a sex drive that you feel is too low or too high
Training
I have a Master’s degree (MEd) and completed all course work toward a PhD at the University of Toronto collaboratively with the Mark S. Bonham Centre for Sexuality Studies. During that time I conducted and assisted in research relating to sexuality, sexual identity, pornography, and the use of sexual networking apps such as Tinder and Grindr. I also taught UNI256: Sexualities: Social, Organizational, and Legal Contexts at U of T in the Sexuality Studies program. I combine my past academic training and research experience in sexuality studies, with my training in psychotherapy, to ensure an evidence-based approach to working on issues relating to sex and sexuality.
