Current Workshops

This 1-day virtual workshop offers an engaging, accessible introduction to relational psychoanalytic work for mental health professionals who are already grounded in humanistic or Rogerian approaches but want to go deeper. Together, we’ll explore how the therapeutic relationship itself becomes a transformative space: one where unconscious processes, mutual influence, and co-created meaning can lead to profound change.
The morning will provide a clear and practical overview of the foundations of relational psychoanalysis, including how it differs from but complements person-centred work. Participants will then explore key concepts such as enactments, rupture and repair, and the therapist’s use of self. The afternoon will shift into applied learning through small-group discussions, case reflections, and live demonstrations, allowing participants to practice bringing a relational lens to their own client work.
By the end of the day, you’ll leave with a deeper understanding of how to use your own subjectivity as a tool, how to recognize relational patterns as they emerge in session, and how to work through therapeutic impasses with greater curiosity and compassion.
